MONDAYS
PLAY WITH COLOURS

A creative workshop to help you see la vie en rose (life in pink)! But also in blue, red, yellow, orange, purple, magenta... On the programme for young festival-goers: rainbows, prism and filters for a journey at the centre of light. Children will play with cameras to surprise their senses and create a colourful composition using a variety of objects and lighting. A visit to an exhibition will also stimulate their eye.

TUESDAYS
PHOTOGRAPHIC EXPLORATIONS

Camera in hand, children will explore the surrounding environment and collect a multitude of images, big and small. A facade, a shape, a tree, a detail, a look, a roof, a character... All these elements will then be used to create an unexpected image. Trickery, improbable vanishing lines and abstract figures are all part of these extraordinary creations. A visit to an exhibition will provide inspiration for the young audience.

WEDNESDAYS
THE ART OF STAGING

In a shooting studio as well as outdoors, this workshop will focus on the art of staging, with its characters for a day, its sets, props and lighting. From idea to realization, each participant will have a specific role to play in the construction of little sketches. Posture, framing and stories will also be discussed. Before launching into their own creations, children will draw inspiration from one of the festival's exhibitions.

THURSDAYS
MOVIE-MAKING

An exciting workshop that lets kids discover the transition from still to moving images using “Stop Motion” techniques.  Indoors or outdoors, life-size or miniature, children will create their own cinema scene. A playful, meticulous approach to the magic of images. A visit to one of the festival's exhibitions will complete the workshop.

FRIDAYS
1, 2, 3 LIGHT!

This discovery-filled workshop explores two essential aspects of photography: light and exposure time, essential for composing all kinds of photographic recipes. Children will master blur and sharpness, freeze gestures, jumps, or on the contrary let movements stretch or make a person disappear. As part of this exploration, children will try light painting (writing with light). A visit to one of the festival's exhibitions will also stimulate their creativity.
